J. Anne Clark, Ph.D.

The founder of Collaborative Research Associates, Dr. Anne Clark, has more than 25 years of professional experience in education, research, evaluation, and planning. Anne has conducted policy research for the Education Commission of the States and served as an executive office for Junior Achievement Worldwide, an international educational non-profit organization. As JA’s Vice President for Research and Evaluation, Anne designed and managed multiple, complex evaluation projects conducted by evaluation teams in the U.S. and internationally. She has provided research, evaluation, and planning services for numerous large and small nonprofit organizations and has worked as a consultant to more than thirty colleges, universities, and corporations on evaluation and planning projects. 

Anne holds a Ph.D. degree in educational leadership and innovation from the University of Colorado; her dissertation research utilized a policy process model to analyze the implementation of campus-wide laptop computing programs. Anne earned an M.A. degree in art and education from California State University and a B.A. degree in education and information media from St. Cloud State University (MN). Her postdoctoral professional development is focused on program planning, evaluation, and educational uses of information technologies. Anne holds current teaching credentials in California (K-12) and Colorado (K-6). Recent research, publications, and presentations have focused on adolescent information literacy, gender issues in education, and youth development.
